I really need sleep. I feel like I've been run over by a pickup truck. Yet I'm quite happy.  And I got paid today, which is good because I've actually only been eating one meal a day from lack of funds lol.  Or not so much a lack of funds but guilt and a need to spend it on other things, like *ahem* BBQ specials All you nyc people know the value of that place.

We went to one last District concert last night. Way to round out the year.  I wonder if theyll ever make it to Texas.

I wonder if I will ever make it to Texas. I dunno how I'm going to get all my stuff onto the plane.  If Supershuttle flakes on me, I'm going to have to somehow get two suitcases and two bags onto the subway and then the New Jersey transit. Which is not going to happen.

I'm giving my last tour for the year today!  As of today, Ambassadors, scholars, and two of my classes are completely done for freshman year.

Boy this entry is boring. except for the part about jess. Hopefully something scandalous will happen today that I can write about.

This weekend I hosted a Scholar from next year's class. I was supposed to show her all the wonders of nyu so she decides to come here.  She loved it, as anybody would, and as long as her parents let her come, she'll be part of the nyu freshman class.  The whole weekend, I just felt so very old. And I was reminded of how much I had changed since my first few days here.

I wish Ella Fitzgerald were alive today.  Or that I lived back then, in the New York City that she saw in her music.  Or maybe even further back, when the penthouse of my building was a speakeasy and every crevace was filled with jazz and wealth.
